My name is Boris Sidorenko, and I am an Sustainability and ESG Expert with a background in business administration, project management, and corporate sustainability.

During my studies at the University of Latvia, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, I developed a strong interest in how sustainability principles can be integrated into different business models and sectors. From that time, I began to see that business success is not only about profit — it’s also about creating long-term value, responsibility, and resilience through sustainable development. 

I began my professional path in 2013, working as a Project Manager for international industrial projects. Later, in 2019, I joined the IT sector, where I first encountered ESG and sustainability topics in practice. Today, I support one of the leading oil and gas companies in the development of their ESG and sustainability reports, helping them navigate complex structures and align sustainability principles across global operations.

Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience in finance, IT, and the energy sector, which allows me to see sustainability from different business perspectives. I enjoy working with diverse enterprises — every company is unique, every project brings its own challenges, and the purpose behind each sustainability journey is what makes it truly meaningful.

For me, the value of business goes beyond generating profit. It lies in how responsibly a company acts toward people, society, and the environment. Transparency and accountability are the foundation of any truly sustainable organization.

I speak English, Latvian, Russian, and Ukrainian, which allows me to work comfortably with a wide range of stakeholders and international teams.
